Apparently there's nothing we can do about snail infestation. Slug pellets are banned, so I took upon cleaning it manually today. We'll see what gives.
Slug pellets are not banned, they just had to change the formula so they were not harmful to birds, cats etc. if they were banned then supermarkets etc would not be selling them.
