Not even the first time Andrich scored a goal like that. Bro looks like he has zero shot technique, but the plot literally doesn't give a fuck. The plot demands that he scores, so he does.
It's not a handball since he tucks the arm and tries to head it. However it's a very clear foul from boniface, he pushes the player with two arms and the way he falls is natural, not a goal
What’s the German VAR usually like? I feel like if that was in England, they could have easily overturned that because of the “push” from Boniface. Maybe not for the runaway leaders, but for every other club, they’d spend five minutes slowing that contact down til the ref had no choice but to rule it out.
If they take away Undav's goals after what Andrich was allowed to do the entire game before that, them it slots perfectly into the sheer endless row of scandalous ref decisions in this game.
Not really. That's just consistency. And I wouldn't call it scandalous. Palacios' yellow was absolutely nothing and he got some minor decisions wrong but that's about it. I would've disallowed Undav's goal and Andrich's goal but at least he's sticking to his line.
If you mention Palacios' yellow, what did you think about Undav's yellow? And what about Hincapie not getting red for his first elbow to the face (Waffe, nicht Werkzeug) and his second elbow to the face not getting yellow-red? What about Andrich's elbow to Karazors stomach when he already lost the air duel? Just to name a few
Undav's was fine in my opinion because he just blocked him when Kossonou followed him. And he stopped not because he wanted to stop but just to fuck with Kossonou. We can talk about that Kossonou did a lot more than Undav but usually these situations are viewed as a whole and not split into every single action.
I've only seen one replay of the card, to me it looked more like a push and less like a hit but if there's an angle that makes it look differently, I could change mind. Second one was more an arm on the shoulder with some light contact in the face afterwards, not really enough for me.
Missed the elbow. Do you have a video?
I'm sorry but you clearly didn't watch the game and I don't have the nerve to spoon-feed you every single of the many many terrible calls tonight. Watch a re-live of the second half if you are interested, it was a objectively great game - just ruined by a incompetent corrupt ref.
**Multiple** elbows to the face and all the replays. What a nice coincidence you only missed those exact situations, isn't it. Glad you don't even deny not watching the game.
In my opinion zwayer also gave you guys too little yellow cards in the first half especially it felt like everyone could pull frimpongs jersey without punishment.
However, it was a great game of football and you guys were qmazing and shouldve buried it at 2-0 and at 2-1 as well with insane chances.
What im trying to say is at the end you have yourself to blame because you had more than enough chances to bury the game
What do you think about Undavs yellow card? And about Kossounou only getting a single yellow the entire game when he should have gotten more in that scene with Undav alone? How about Frimpong getting yellow when he made a Rudelbildung out of the bilateral conflict? And how do you feel about Hincapie not getting red for his first elbow or at least yellow-red for his second yellow? How about no yellow for Andrichs elbow into Karazors stomach? How about your backline wrestling down Guirassy and Undav for bigger parts of the game and getting away with it?
Can't believe you would even try to go for the yellow cards after what we just witnessed. And ofc we should have buried these but we still scored two goals from 1.76 xG, so I wouldn't say that was the problem. No team converts all their chances. Doesn't mean they deserve to not win.
And like I said, I will not be upset about above average finishing. I love this team and they played an amazing game. It was not their fault they didn't win it.
I felt so relieved for Xhaka that his team mates somehow survived without him, because his leadership mentality for the team is crucial and almost irreplacable! Today felt more shaky with his absence on the pitch because of his one-game ban … he is simply the boss, so let’s hope he can somehow finish the rest of the games this season on the pitch again 🫶🏽⚓️
Sucks that it happened like this but even as VfB fan I am somewhat ok with this (as long as they keep it up for the last 3 games). Otherwise it is probably Bayern who will at some point achieve an unbeaten season and they have enough records here already so would be great if Leverkusen are the first to do it here.
Well call me biased but that shit wasn't a free kick especially looking at the fouls he gave in the 2nd half.
Additionally a potential foul from Boniface after the free kick + hand play from Hincapie even tho it was directly attached to his body, the ball will never reach Andrich if it doesn't hits his arm which then normally makes it a punishable hand play.
Also Leverkusen couldn't blame anyone if the finish this game with 10 but well Stuttgart also threw it partly.
Great game all together.
I understand that don't get me wrong and if multiple passes are between that and the resulting goal it's fine but here I'm kinda sure that Andrich wouldn't get the ball.
But even if we call that clear, Boniface commits a foul just two seconds before which is an easy call in my books.
Not enough focus on the fact Bayer are winless in 3 and gassing themselves before facing Roma in the EL. All for the sake of achieving invincibility which at the end of the day is meaningless. It does not come with a trophy.
they're running out of steam. tbh, this stretch was always going to be brutal. 2x West Ham, Dortmund and Stuttgart in the past weeks, with Frankfurt and 2x Roma still coming. I'd be surprised if they make it out of that but I've already said that plenty of times this season and got surprised.
So like random thought: UEFA should stagger the continental tournaments so that the Conference League champion gets a spot in the quarterfinals of the Europa League, and Europa League champion in the Champions League QF.
Because it really kind of sucks that a team that has this kind of a season won't even have a chance to cap it off with a European championship.
Good idea until you think about how that would affect the rest of the tournament. That would require 14 teams in the round before, and while that might be easier to do with the new format I really struggle to see that happening.
This thing sort of exists, but it's kinda rare in modern football, especially in the top leagues.
The term for this is player-coach (or player-manager), but I think the person (in this case Xabi Alonso) needs to be registered with the league as both player & coach before the start of the season.
Teams start to get scared by the neverending comebacks.. Stuttgart wasn't able to play anything more after that Hradecky save. They looked like waiting for the goal to fall.
Xabi skilled manager but that is not normally, This very very insane....They need to check him pc and game.....Maybe he not cheating but maybe he using the game deficit ...and this cant seem on the pitch..He needs to check-up.......Xabi using game deficit on bundesliga scene ,ON BIG matches.Maybe everyone dont knows him trick. He incredible....I want to ask his where is the comming of your skill's ?
I have never seen a team with XABI ALONSO lose a game.... I mean, he's perfect, incredible, good plan, intelligent, handsome... I honestly don't see XABI ALONSO losing this game.
What a story! I normally only watch the PL and CL, but I now tune into the Bundesliga to see if Leverkusen can write themselves into the history books!
Only 3 games left to immortal glory!
They were playing like shit when Stuttgart scored and opened 2-0. After Adli made the first Leverkusen goal, they improved a lot, and at the end, it felt like they were about to score (did it once, but it was disallowed), and finally got it in the end. They improved, but they were so lucky today, that if they play like this, losing is inevitable
Has to be both, I mean the way they play is largely exhausting for their opponents which can explain why they have so many late goals statistically. But the absolute freakish consistency of this happening is beyond what you can simply explain with that, there's definitely a fair amount of luck as well
Imo they got a bit of luck with that free kick. If the player kept his head, it wouldn't be a free kick in a dangerous area.
Leverkusen can smell goals from those situations. That's their mentality. So bit of both I suppose.
What the fuck has Xabi done to these kids to create this mentality. If I were on the precipice of losing an unbeaten historic streak I wouldn't be able to keep it together at all but they play like it's the 5th minutes.
It's absolute insanity.
You just know how strong the black magic is when that Stuttgart player’s brain shut down for 2 seconds, decided not to clear the ball and gave away the foul lol
I'm so happy that for once I realized super early this season what was happening, how good this team is...
But nobody could have expected THIS kind of season to unfold.....
No, what the actual fuck, it was 90 +5 when I looked at the score last and I thought this was finally the moment their run ended.
This is getting to beyond RM CL black voodoo magic
Just screamed loud irrational noises. How is the streak not fucking dead. Someone check how many human sacrifices were made cuz this is unreal. It's as if God ordained it.
Somehow Xabi was able to enter up, down, up, down, left, right, left, right, start, select on Bayers controller.
There's no other explanation for this run.
Absolutely unbelievable.
Stupid foul to give away at the end there. And they didn't even bother sending Hradecky up for it.
Amazing run by Leverkusen. 3 more games to join the Invincible club.
That Stuttgart player who conceded the FK has only himself to blame. Terrible touch then throws the Leverkusen player onto the floor when there was no real threat. There was only one outcome from then on
Second game in a row they should've lost but got a freekick (both imo which you shouldn't give) to give them a chance and score in the last minute of the game. Actually insane how lucky Leverkusen are at times this season with ref decisions.
Yo, the same. I went to do some things once they the Stuttgart's GK.
Came back to the match finished and a Stuttgart's player on the ground, disheartned and I was like "no shot, did they equalize again??"
Insane mentality.
At the same time, the team's winless in 3 and has drawn at the last second every time. West Ham were better, Dortmund and Stuttgart went toe-to-toe.
They need to do better, much better against Roma.
I think they’re getting weary, I feel like it’s taking a toll on the players. Stuttgart and Dortmund are some of the better opponents they’ll play though
The 2:1 was too quick and Guirassy missing the goal instead of answering quickly with the 3rd was too much. 1 goal advantage before stoppage time vs Leverkusen is just too little this season :(
It has to be looked at now We will see this week if Roma will allow it to go this late
No jokes though but I'm pretty sure the last few games the refs will add extra time until BL scores
Props to Bayer but it looks like a handball no? Also one Stuttgart player was pushed too.
Handball is 50/50 but that's a clear push from boniface no arguments lol
Not even the first time Andrich scored a goal like that. Bro looks like he has zero shot technique, but the plot literally doesn't give a fuck. The plot demands that he scores, so he does.
Zwayer Leverkusen
These games are rigged. There is genuinely no possible way it has happened this many times.
This is actually ridiculous. 90+7 last week and 90+6 this week. How? I call shenanigans.
He can’t keep getting away with this
just howww???
On the replay it looks like a handball, does anyone have a clearer replay of it? Also a push from victor to the stuttgart player
It's not a handball since he tucks the arm and tries to head it. However it's a very clear foul from boniface, he pushes the player with two arms and the way he falls is natural, not a goal
This draw means that they will stay short of the 91 point record even if they win their remaining matches
What’s the German VAR usually like? I feel like if that was in England, they could have easily overturned that because of the “push” from Boniface. Maybe not for the runaway leaders, but for every other club, they’d spend five minutes slowing that contact down til the ref had no choice but to rule it out.
Well usually they would at least look at it... But oh well
If they don't take away Undav's goal for his arm pull then they shouldn't take away this one either.

Because I missed one situation as a neutral? Bit of a leap.
Like I said in the end you had your chances but didn't convert them, thats the only thing you should be upset about.
And like I said, I will not be upset about above average finishing. I love this team and they played an amazing game. It was not their fault they didn't win it.
Can we talk about that save from Hradecky just before stoppage time?
Hradecky has been one of our unsung heroes this season. He has been fantastic all around.
Hoeneß is not happy at all with Zwayer
I felt so relieved for Xhaka that his team mates somehow survived without him, because his leadership mentality for the team is crucial and almost irreplacable! Today felt more shaky with his absence on the pitch because of his one-game ban … he is simply the boss, so let’s hope he can somehow finish the rest of the games this season on the pitch again 🫶🏽⚓️
THEY'VE DONE IT AGAIN
Xabitime
That game should have seen some red cards.
For which team/player? Sadly I could also follow it via liveticker.
Leverkusens's Hincapie
Lol?
And even then they would do the equalizer.
Yep, agreed, let's go unbeaten, Leverkusen!
gtfo and suck Bayer c***
You only have to tune in for stoppage time with Leverkusen...
Well call me biased but that shit wasn't a free kick especially looking at the fouls he gave in the 2nd half. >the ball will never reach Andrich if it doesn't hits his arm which then normally makes it a punishable hand play. I don't think that's in the rules.
Would be ridiculous to call that a handball after clear effort from Hincapie to keep it tucked in as close to body as possible.
I understand that don't get me wrong and if multiple passes are between that and the resulting goal it's fine but here I'm kinda sure that Andrich wouldn't get the ball. But even if we call that clear, Boniface commits a foul just two seconds before which is an easy call in my books.
Somewhere in this world there's a madman that made bank from betting on Leverkusen late goals.
Tuned in at work when I heard Leverkusen was 2-0 down. We knew we were going to witness it. And we did.
Amazing they keep going.
Not enough focus on the fact Bayer are winless in 3 and gassing themselves before facing Roma in the EL. All for the sake of achieving invincibility which at the end of the day is meaningless. It does not come with a trophy.
Invincibility is a rare feat and harder than winning any trophy. Has more value imo.
Pretty sure all these buli opponents are stronger than Roma. Bayer will be fine
Stuttgart are NOT stronger than roma
Why? Bundesliga and Serie A are comparable in quality and Stuttgart has more points with less games played than Roma.
VfB drew Leverkusen 2 times and lost very close one time this season, let's see how well Roma does...
Not how this works, by your logic brentford were better than bayern last year because they beat man city
they're running out of steam. tbh, this stretch was always going to be brutal. 2x West Ham, Dortmund and Stuttgart in the past weeks, with Frankfurt and 2x Roma still coming. I'd be surprised if they make it out of that but I've already said that plenty of times this season and got surprised.
They should use rotations efficiently and hope that their opponents are more exhausted than they are.
Also has to be said that some key players are being given some offtime since the league title is secure, most notably wirtz
Not to mention the EL final in Dublin is on May 22nd, and the DFB-Pokal final in Berlin is on the 25th. The busy schedule just never ends.
Well this is a pretty tough run of fixtures they have at the moment to be fair
Because it's 3 tough matches with them already crowned champions.
Man. I refuse to believe that they are not doing black magic out there. This is just CRAZYYY.
Stupid sexy Xabi
I saw it was 2-1 at 93 mins and tuned in to witness the last min equalizer
Last week I literally turned in for the corner at 90+7 and saw all I had to see
I did the same but at 84th min. You know something crazy is going to happen
Insane team, you just know they will go 200% after 90min mark
They scored 21 goals after the 86' minute now. That is a crazy high number.
Pretty sure the universe is a simulated football video game and someone is just reloading a save everytime leverkusen loses
If only Guirassy scored at least one of the 3 big chances he got...but damn this Leverkusen is stuff of greatness. Hope they do the Invincibles.
Hope they manage! It is an incredibly hard task.
Black magic is real
They must ban the stupid knees slide celebration + what kind of sorcery is this shit?
In the final league match Xabi Alonso will bring himself on at 90+9 and score the equaliser at 90+10.
Just as a pure theoretical, is he actually allowed to do that? The manager subs himself on as a player?
This thing sort of exists, but it's kinda rare in modern football, especially in the top leagues. The term for this is player-coach (or player-manager), but I think the person (in this case Xabi Alonso) needs to be registered with the league as both player & coach before the start of the season.
It's written. Won't be surprised if this happens.
Teams start to get scared by the neverending comebacks.. Stuttgart wasn't able to play anything more after that Hradecky save. They looked like waiting for the goal to fall.
Unfathomable levels of plot armor
Xabi skilled manager but that is not normally, This very very insane....They need to check him pc and game.....Maybe he not cheating but maybe he using the game deficit ...and this cant seem on the pitch..He needs to check-up.......Xabi using game deficit on bundesliga scene ,ON BIG matches.Maybe everyone dont knows him trick. He incredible....I want to ask his where is the comming of your skill's ?
I had a stroke while reading this
It's Counter-Strike copypasta
I have never seen a team with XABI ALONSO lose a game.... I mean, he's perfect, incredible, good plan, intelligent, handsome... I honestly don't see XABI ALONSO losing this game.
What?
Zywoo
It's a CSGO copypasta edited for football
its a copypasta
What a story! I normally only watch the PL and CL, but I now tune into the Bundesliga to see if Leverkusen can write themselves into the history books! Only 3 games left to immortal glory!
HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE 😭😭😭😭😭
Is it actually deserved or are they having a lot of luck lately?
They were playing like shit when Stuttgart scored and opened 2-0. It doesn't matter at this point.
100% this
Both. A Stuttgart player decided not to clear the ball for no reason and gave away the foul at the end lol
A lot of luck.
aintnoway
They can’t keep getting away with it
They can!!
The dopamine/serotonin/happy chemical receptors for Leverkusen fans are going to be burnt out come the summer.
Top 10 unexpected anime moments
That save made by the leverkusen goalie at the 87 min was insane.
What the fuck has Xabi done to these kids to create this mentality. If I were on the precipice of losing an unbeaten historic streak I wouldn't be able to keep it together at all but they play like it's the 5th minutes. It's absolute insanity.
I've never celebrated a draw for a team I don't support or don't really care for more than today
I think there are literally dozens of us!
This mf Xabi better stay *FAAAAAAR* away from the Prem. I don’t want this black magic shit over here.
His black magic added to Madrid's black magic is something I don't wanna see.
I don't give two shits about Madrid or anyone they might beat with this so why not, it'll be a humourous watch if nothing else
They can’t keep getting away with itttt!!!!🤣🤣😳😳
wp stuttgart. came really really close all 3 games
You just know how strong the black magic is when that Stuttgart player’s brain shut down for 2 seconds, decided not to clear the ball and gave away the foul lol
we're witnessing an all time moment in football history.
I'm so happy that for once I realized super early this season what was happening, how good this team is... But nobody could have expected THIS kind of season to unfold.....
What if they never lose again?
🤣🤣🤣
You knew the second they got a call after full and extra time it was gonna be a goal. Black magic bullshit
[удалено]
🤣🤣🤣
Anulo mufa
Bayer Neverlusen in action.
No, what the actual fuck, it was 90 +5 when I looked at the score last and I thought this was finally the moment their run ended. This is getting to beyond RM CL black voodoo magic
they used all their luck for the next 50 years this season. they will probably play in the 3rd division in 5 years :D
Lmao
No this is for 2002
And 2000
Leverkusen will never lose a game ever again for the rest of history.
HE CAN'T KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH THIS!!!
He can, in fact, keep getting away with it.
Nübel arguably best German Keeper this season. His development this year has been crazy.
Just screamed loud irrational noises. How is the streak not fucking dead. Someone check how many human sacrifices were made cuz this is unreal. It's as if God ordained it.
FUCK THAT REF gg Neverlusen
What a game I've just seen. To think 5 minutes ago I was #AlonsoOut
THEY CAN'T KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH THIS!!
I wonder how much money Zwayer made today betting on this match.
Nah he was ass on both ends
As a neutral I thought he did incredibly well in a seriously difficult match
The bullshit is very real
Somehow Xabi was able to enter up, down, up, down, left, right, left, right, start, select on Bayers controller. There's no other explanation for this run.
Absolutely unbelievable. Stupid foul to give away at the end there. And they didn't even bother sending Hradecky up for it. Amazing run by Leverkusen. 3 more games to join the Invincible club.
i didnt believe and turned it off at 95'...
Surprised you did this with the Madrid flair on.
Same lol.
Big mistake. You should know better based on your flair.
I'm gonna look on the bright side here... 270 minutes on par with Invincekusen this season
Fucking anime main character level of plot armor
Bayer Leverkusen have got more plot armour than the main characters in GoT season 8, wtf
Unglaublich
That Stuttgart player who conceded the FK has only himself to blame. Terrible touch then throws the Leverkusen player onto the floor when there was no real threat. There was only one outcome from then on
Mad mad scenes. What a game!! What an end!!! Pure cinema. Every single person on the pitch was in disbelief.
Their games are rigged
what we're watching here is basically impossible, especially considering the insane amount of last second goals
free money at this point, tossed a fiver on Leverkusen to draw at the start of added time
Second game in a row they should've lost but got a freekick (both imo which you shouldn't give) to give them a chance and score in the last minute of the game. Actually insane how lucky Leverkusen are at times this season with ref decisions.
Can we officially rename Fergie Time to Xabi Time now?
I thought Everkusen was a typo first
The matched should've ended before that free kick tbh
Probably gave it because it was during the final attack...
Shut up, i'm still in denial cause how tf does this keep happening??
Black magic “eritage”
GIGACHAD Leverkusen
Xabi Alonso took all of the bs from his previous clubs, Plot armour from Liverpool, Black magic from Real Madrid and endless winning from Bayern
Mf's can't keep getting away with it!!!!
they fucking do unfortunately
Immerhin ist Zwayers Schein gekommen
What is that? I turned it off at 94'.
Yo, the same. I went to do some things once they the Stuttgart's GK. Came back to the match finished and a Stuttgart's player on the ground, disheartned and I was like "no shot, did they equalize again??"
Please tell me you didn’t do that
I turned it on at 93' to be fair. I regret my decision to turn it off a minute later.
Not a good idea. Never turn off Leverkusen match this season
Honestly just fucking ridiculous
Insane mentality. At the same time, the team's winless in 3 and has drawn at the last second every time. West Ham were better, Dortmund and Stuttgart went toe-to-toe. They need to do better, much better against Roma.
*West Ham were better in the first half
I think they’re getting weary, I feel like it’s taking a toll on the players. Stuttgart and Dortmund are some of the better opponents they’ll play though
There needs to be a full inquiry post season. Witchcraft is the only logical explanation.
I just realized I'm a moron. I thought I was watching a live match but seems like I just watched a rerun from earlier this season.
Genuinely insane to me how people were calling this game Leverkusen's first loss with over 10 min to go.
The 2:1 was too quick and Guirassy missing the goal instead of answering quickly with the 3rd was too much. 1 goal advantage before stoppage time vs Leverkusen is just too little this season :(
Crazy
Both teams were good. But Leverkusen has that armor.
An actual real life glitch. How is this possible??
All the Stuttgart players still whining, unbelievable.
Oops I did it again. I scored at the end...
