I was obsessed with dinosaurs as a kid, and this makes me think of the weird, fantastic flora from some Walking With Dinosaurs series or other. Really cool. 😁
I wish mine would make babies like this!!! So cool!
I have a pretty good size garden of potted succulents and cacti, some of them do make babies while others I have had for years and never do...I'm no expert on such things, I just sortof learn as I go along.
But I am curious what signals them to get those motherly instincts...🤔
I’m really not positive… this is the first time I’ve had this many. Normally it’s just 1-2 like you said. I know some people poke holes in the stem to encourage babies but I didn’t do that on this
I get this the majority of time after beheading a plant and leaving some stem behind, and continuing to water. I currently have 3 stems doing this and I love it. Kind of wish one would stay like it forever, but also don’t want to put much effort in attempting to slowly remove the bebes and hope new ones come in.
had something smaller with flowers growing on stem, flowers eventually grew long arms, tried to cut of and repot one of them.
think your look nice as it is though.

I love how much babies they produce!
If they start to seem especially crowded - their new leaves are getting caught due to lack of space, etc - then you can gently pop one or two off in strategic places to give the rest more room. Place the removed plantlets on *fluffly, freshly raked up well draining succulent soil mix* and les them germinate roots that penetrate the soil.
Oh wow! You may need a hens and chickens style pot. A large one. There are multiple holes all over it to allow for the spread of the plant and better balance. The pot they are growing so brilliantly in now is too small. If she grows much taller she could tip over into the floor and then you would have to deal with breakage. If it happens the plant can still be saved by putting the broken pieces into other pots so don’t worry at all. You have a green thumb and a beautiful plant to show it! 🌿💚

The traditional type is the one on the right. The much better priced one on the left is a good option. Either way you will need to gently pull the new buds from the mother plant and set them gently yet securely on the soil in their new home. Succulents may seem hard to work with but they are tougher than we expect. Each good pinch off the mother plant can get a new start. Water is what you have to be most careful about.
My succulents have never seen more than one year of life for some reasons i cannot keep these things aliveeee and thriving. Ive got a few who are miraculously still living but have had many near death’s experiences. So im impressed with yours looking this good!
A tall and wide see through pot would be amazing. You could take photos of the same areas each day and make a video of growth over time. This is the kind of thing I have always wanted to do.
Happened pretty naturally over time. The new growth came where old leaves used to be. I’ve seen videos where people use a pin to puncture the stock in different areas and that can stimulate new growth but I did not do that.
I would just let them grow until the pot is full.
Ty!
This is what I would do too
I’d be interested to see how it looked in a year or two with all those babies growing out
I've no suggestions as I'm a total amateur in succulent matters — just here to say it's seriously so pretty. 😯
You and me both 😂 thanks!!
I was obsessed with dinosaurs as a kid, and this makes me think of the weird, fantastic flora from some Walking With Dinosaurs series or other. Really cool. 😁
Haha! Love it! We have tons of dinosaurs in the house so that fits!!
I love using small toys as pot decor. Throw a mini dino down in there!
Haha I can make that happen! I have a baby duck in another one!
I love using old toys for plant decor too. That is so fun and gives everything a sense of happy whimsy like we all should have had as children 💕😁
Yes! It’s gorgeous!
It looks so pretty as is! What's the species?
echeveria peacockii!!
Right on, I have three of these. Love the pink edges.
So cool! Thanks 😊
Well it's definitely peacocking!
😂😂 100%
Yeah I would just let those grow and see what this turns into its gorgeous.
It looks like it's from a fairy tale!

This is gonna look so awesome in a few years. I do honestly keep all the pups on the mother. It will just create a massive echeveria tower.
This is gorgeous!!
How!? Share your knowledge lol
Lol I wish I knew
My girlfriend just said she’s been rotating the plant every few days to get equal amounts of sun around all sides of the plant.
How does the stalk grow so tall?
I wish I knew, just kept losing the bottom leaves and got that tall with time
How long did it take to get this tall?
A year/year and a half
Make sure it gets enough light, it stretches so much to get more
had something smaller with flowers growing on stem, flowers eventually grew long arms, tried to cut of and repot one of them. think your look nice as it is though.
Thank you! I’ll let them be for now 😊
Omg so beautiful!!
Give them to me.
😂😂
This is going to look so cool in a year or two. It looks cool now.
I’d selectively remove a few to make a spiral up the “pole”. It is really so cool!
That is an inspired idea and I can visualize the results. It would be beautiful!

That was my only worry… don’t get where they find space to grow! Thanks
It is beautiful!!
Ty!!!
I'd leave the pups on unless necessary to remove. They look so nice!!!
🐶💚
Oh my goodness gracious. I am in loveeeeeee!!!! What is this gorgeous girl name?!?!
☺️ it doesn’t have an official name but sometimes I call it Nick Cannon because it keeps popping out babies. Searching for a better female name tho.
Nicki Cannon? 😂😂
I like the name. Haha

What does a Hens and chicks pot look like?

This is beautiful. I wish I could grow something like this.
Awesome
That’s gorgeous! I’d let them grow where they are for now. 🌸💗
😽 thanks kitty!
That is so pretty!!!
That’s so pretty!!
Thanks 🌙🧸
Such a beauty
Absolutely stunning! 🤩
That's beautiful!
My succulents have never seen more than one year of life for some reasons i cannot keep these things aliveeee and thriving. Ive got a few who are miraculously still living but have had many near death’s experiences. So im impressed with yours looking this good!
What a beautiful plant as is! That would look striking in a white pot
A tall and wide see through pot would be amazing. You could take photos of the same areas each day and make a video of growth over time. This is the kind of thing I have always wanted to do.
Echeverría subsesilis aka morning beauty. Reproduces a lot I love it
Is that what this is called?
Yes I looked it up and it’s also called peacockii
What is the pot mix you are using?
3 parts Jacks gritty mix, 1 part soil
Thank you :)
Cute!
She's so beautiful
Omg beautiful
wow. that is soo beautiful
I have something very similar, just wait till it flowers. So cool
This is just absolutely beautiful! 😍
I want one!
Definitely need a good lawyer on retainer, trade??
This is so beautiful 😍
Wow that’s great. So pretty.
i think this is the prettiest plant i’ve ever seen
Love the color
That is legit one of the most beautiful flowers I've ever seen. It's so clean and organized looking.
So pretty! How do you get them to grow on the stock?
Happened pretty naturally over time. The new growth came where old leaves used to be. I’ve seen videos where people use a pin to puncture the stock in different areas and that can stimulate new growth but I did not do that.
I'll bet if you just let them grow, it would be a beautiful pot!
omg how !!! so pretty ...
I'd remove all but three or four of them in strategic positions.
Ok! They seem really close to each other so I’m not sure what would happen if I left them on and they continued to get bigger.

I wish I had a good answer to this… it just happened
Can I just say that I like your style! How? 🤷🏻♀️ What did you do? 🤷🏻♀️ How so tall? 🤷🏻♀️ How so many? 🤷🏻♀️ What now? 🤷🏻♀️ Keep on keepin’ on!
Hahaha thanks 🙏🏼
Technically they're nascent branches rather than new plants - they get bushy in the wild
Such an interesting and beautiful looking echeveria
I have one that's just starting to grow tall like this. I hope it has babies too :)
