I'm queer and trust me, trying to explain to a twitter refugee that this show was written by someone who absolutely hates you and makes fun of you via the show is an... experience. like talking to a brick wall.
I genuinely do not understand how thereās people who find Family Guy or Simpson character sexy. There is nothing attractive there. Theyāre so stylized, they look nothing like a regular human
I used to jack off to Simpson porn when I was a young teen, mainly because for some reason it felt weird to do it to characters I didn't know. And like fr, Marge is kinda cute. That playboy photoshoot? Still reactivates those old neuron pathways.
lesbian has evolved from wlw (women loving women) to nmlnm (non men loving non men)
although if a girl is attracted to an enby, it could be straight, gay or something else depending on how they identify, so not all non men are included
That makes more sense, and I assume it works the same with being gay? (Male/male not the broad blanket term) So like someone who is enby, or anyone not a woman, with a man would be gay?
to summarise a long history, genderfuckery has been something entwined in the lesbian community for a long time. plus non binary is a gender umbrella, not a sexuality like lesbian. lesbian is more defined by being a woman or nonbinary person who is attracted to women and nonbinary people.
a gay man can also be attracted to a nonbinary person, or be nonbinary themselves, because nonbinary is a single word for a broad spectrum of experiences. I feel like I'm not explaining this well but yeah.
pronouns do not necessarily equal gender. a stone butch lesbian may go by he/him pronouns because he feels it fits his presentation the best. plus nonbinary is a single word for a broad spectrum of experiences. labels are less boxes you need to fit into and more "yeah that feels right for me". lesbian has also broadened as a term to include nonbinary people who feel "lesbian" best describes their experience.
not necessarily! the definition of nonbinary is someone who does not fit into the gender binary, they are not SOLELY male or female. nonbinary people can use any pronouns really, not just they/them. they could use he/they, she/they, he/him, she/her, she/him, xe/xyr, doesn't really matter. what matters is what the person feels fits them best.
take me for example. by definition, I am nonbinary, because my gender doesn't subscribe to the gender binary's idea of a man. I'm a demiboy, so basically 70% guy, 30% "yeah Idk" in my case. but I also feel a strong connection to manhood, so I'm a nonbinary man and I use he/him pronouns.
I know it sounds confusing once you start learning about it, but a good thing to remember is nonbinary is an umbrella term. it's a word to cover many different people under many different names. no two nonbinary people are exactly the same. the word is defined as _not conforming to standards of male and female_ mainly.
This is what the South Park fandom looks like to me
its sad how realistic that is lmao

South Park writers hate queer people ? ![gif](giphy|xUPGcAARqE3Q9JQjK0|downsized)
maybe hate is a strong word but there's certainly a lack of respect
South Park writers are extremely disrespectful by default. Are gay people getting special treatment from them? Lucky.
gay people not that much, trans people on the other hand
š§¢
me when the transphobic show attracts trans people
same
I thought they weren't still transphobic. I'm not totally sure though. I only saw the Lorde episode as far as recent ones go.
Literally. I fucking hate it so much and Iām queer. Why are they obsessed with children???
Most avid shippers *are* children.
This will be Family Guy in 2015
Oh no, did I accidentally time travel into the past again?
Hate it when that happens. Iām sitting in my bedroom and next thing I know is Iām being beheaded in a medieval square.
Tell me about it! If I had a nickel for every time I've been tried for witchcraft...
Ugh and don't even get me started on the Mongols!
There was this time I ended up on the Titanic.... that wasn't fun....
Please tell me Iām not the only one who accidentally brought the Plague to Europeā¦

I'm tryna figure out how you can be non-binary *and* lesbian...
lesbian has evolved from wlw (women loving women) to nmlnm (non men loving non men) although if a girl is attracted to an enby, it could be straight, gay or something else depending on how they identify, so not all non men are included

Yeah, pretty much, depending on how they identify
to summarise a long history, genderfuckery has been something entwined in the lesbian community for a long time. plus non binary is a gender umbrella, not a sexuality like lesbian. lesbian is more defined by being a woman or nonbinary person who is attracted to women and nonbinary people. a gay man can also be attracted to a nonbinary person, or be nonbinary themselves, because nonbinary is a single word for a broad spectrum of experiences. How can you be a āheā, non-binary AND a lesbian? Donāt these things all exclude each other or am I being ignorant?
pronouns do not necessarily equal gender. a stone butch lesbian may go by he/him pronouns because he feels it fits his presentation the best. plus nonbinary is a single word for a broad spectrum of experiences. labels are less boxes you need to fit into and more "yeah that feels right for me". lesbian has also broadened as a term to include nonbinary people who feel "lesbian" best describes their experience.
But I thought that non-binary specifically meant you wouldnāt subscribe to he/him or she/her pronouns?
not necessarily! the definition of nonbinary is someone who does not fit into the gender binary, they are not SOLELY male or female. nonbinary people can use any pronouns really, not just they/them. they could use he/they, she/they, he/him, she/her, she/him, xe/xyr, doesn't really matter. what matters is what the person feels fits them best. take me for example. by definition, I am nonbinary, because my gender doesn't subscribe to the gender binary's idea of a man. me and my friend were obsessed with this post a few months ago
