take me for example. by definition, I am nonbinary, because my gender doesn't subscribe to the gender binary's idea of a man. I'm a demiboy, so basically 70% guy, 30% "yeah Idk" in my case. but I also feel a strong connection to manhood, so I'm a nonbinary man and I use he/him pronouns.
I know it sounds confusing once you start learning about it, but a good thing to remember is nonbinary is an umbrella term. it's a word to cover many different people under many different names. no two nonbinary people are exactly the same. the word is defined as _not conforming to standards of male and female_ mainly.
