My thrift stores truly are lame, we only have 3 in a 45 mile radius and it so rare to see awesome items like this, I was truly shocked. Also scored a Sea & Sea Motormarine II kit with strobe & lens in a nice pelican case for $10. Seems like an underwater photographer unloaded all their old gear.
Just as a warning : I own a similar Ikelite housing and I forgot to clean ( to wash ) the inside of the sealings of all the buttons from penetrated saltwater after my last dive travel two years ago …the result is now that these tiny amounts of saltwater inside the sealings did cause an incredible corrosion to the officially „stainless“ steel pins … the pins and the sealings are dead now - no clue if they’re replaceable….so I’d highly recommend you to disassemble and to clean all the buttons in case the former owner missed that…
Call Ikelite!
Good idea. Thanks
Grabbed this on a whim? 😠nice score, that’s a $1k housing if you can figure out the camera

I had a coolpix 8700 Nikon in one similar to that housing
I will do some research on this model, thanks
The mounting plate (if it exists inside) should have the camera model stamp/written on it.
It does have a mounting plate on the inside, but no camera molder stamped on it. Some other folks made some suggestions also I’m gonna look into
Google lens says it's for an Olympus C750.. buttons seem to match https://www.ikelite.com/products/underwater-housing-for-olympus-c-740-c-750
