Sure, you have the pretty ones like Yennefer and Triss and almost all the elves, but then you also have a boatload of plain and even downright ugly civillians and mercs and stuff. The contrast adds more meaning to both of them and makes the trope of "suspiciously beautiful fey" and the abuses such a trope leads to that much more impactful
