Lol, I still remember when it was discovered that the avoidance talent was broken and actually a -2% avoidance. This was discovered midway through season 3 meaning we played all of dragonflight taking extra damage.
Technically I don't think anyone knows how long it's been like that. Reasonable to assume whole xpac though. A high key pusher died to something and felt like he shouldn't have. Looked at his logs and mathed it out.

There might be a chance that they won’t change. When looking at all the other talents that were changed, they were all 3%+
So if they lower this one, are they really going to lower it to 1%? Why bother at that point. Just remove the talent and give us the extra point to use elsewhere.

Exactly this. They heard our concerns about a lack of defensive abilities and in response they will take away our lacking defense abilities.
All defensives combined into one spell -oh wait…
Don't forget that single individual spell also needs to be our primary dps cool down as well.
